Holiday home sleeps 4, ideal for a family vacation, located in the countryside but not secluded, the house is situated at +/- 800 m above sea level. In summer you will be happy to find a little freshness in the evening. Summer or winter, you will appreciate the breathtaking view of the mountains from the terrace.

The house with an area of +/- 100 m² offers on two levels:

On the ground floor:

  • An entrance into the living area with cloakroom, wood stove (wood provided)
  • Sitting area: sofas, TV, Hifi, internet (3 steps lead down to the living room).
  • Dining area: with verandas opening directly onto the terrace and mountain views.
  • Open kitchen: open kitchen fully equipped with a central island, a sink, a hood, a hob with 3 induction burners, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a refrigerator with freezer compartment and all the kitchen necessities.
  • WC

The living room opens directly onto the south-facing terrace facing the mountains.

Half floor:

  • Laundry room with washing machine, dryer and independent freezer.
  • Garage for eventual storage of your sports equipment.

First floor:

  • Bedroom 1: two single bunk beds (for safety reasons the upper bed is not suitable for children under 6 years old), storage, mountain view.
  • Bathroom: corner bath, 2 washbasins, WC, towel dryer radiator and hair dryer.
  • Bedroom 2: Double bed (140 cm wide), chest of drawers, mountain view. n suite shower room with shower, washbasin and heated towel rail.


  • Unenclosed garden of +/- 1000 m², a part of the vegetable garden is your disposal during your stay.
  • +/- 30 m² terrace partly sheltered by the roof of the house.
  • 2 parking spaces.
  • Outdoor furniture, BBQ, games for children, and deckchairs.


  • Essential to have snow equipment for your car in winter.
  • Cot and high chair available on request.
  • The house is located in the countryside in a small hamlet but not secluded, there are neighbours.
  • There may be cows in the field above the small road that runs behind the house.
  • The exterior coatings of the house will not be finished for the 2022 season (as visible on the photo).

Geographic setting

The house is located in the countryside in the heart of the Bauges nature reserve, in a hamlet near Seythenex (2 km) facing the mountains, 4 km from the Col de Tamié and 7 km from La Sambuy.

Paragliding take-off from La Sambuy 7 km away and landing 500 from the house.

Cross-country ski trail (depending on snow cover) less than 1 km from the house.

All the shops are in Faverges 7 km away.

In summer free shuttles from the village of Seythenex to Doussard beach, Faverges and the Col de Tamié.

You will find restaurants, tree climbing, paragliding, etc ... at the Tamié pass 4 km away.

Cyclists will appreciate the climb to the Col de Tamié and the chevrons of the surrounding mountain passes.

Hikers and mountain bikers will be happy to start directly from the house.

Doussard beach and Lake Annecy are 15 km from the house.

In winter, the Tarentaise and Vanoise ski resorts are close to the house.

In summer hiking, in peace, in the Bauges massif (highest point at 2200 m), is a delight at every moment. Come and climb Arcalod, Pointe de Chaurionde, Trélod, Charbon, etc...
