- Regarding car equipment, snow chains are essential in winter.
- Ski slope at 550 m, the ski bus to the higher and lower slopes passes every 30 minutes at 70 m from the chalet.

The chalet is situated in a chalet park surrounded by fir trees, at about 1200 m. The chalet is situated at about 1,2 km from the centre of the resort.
Les Gets is part of the ski resort des Portes du Soleil with about 650 km of ski slopes.
New since winter 2010 : Boarder cross in Les Gets
In summer you can use the cable car or chair lift (by foot or mountain bike) to discover the mountains. (Plateau du Chéry and des Chavannes).
In summer swimming in the Lac des Ecoles (supervised swimming) at about 1 km from the chalet.
The chalet is situated at the same distance from Lake Annecy, Lake Geneva and Chamonix.
